Hey! Guess what I found? I was digging through some boxes of bootleg toys and I found the third and final set of figures in the Attack Of The Clones bootleg toy set. Not only that! I found that I have doubles of all the sets and the ones I found are in much better shape than the ones I posted earlier.
So I took a little time and re-shot the pics of the first two sets reviewed. The cards are much nicer and the close up pics of the figures look a little better too. You can see them HERE.
… and here is the third and final set in the series. It features a figure that I think is supposed to be Luke Skywalker and Yoda. Check it out!
All three sets in this bootleg toy series come with a vehicle, two figures and some weapon accessories. All right, at first glance, does that look like Luke Skywalker to you?

How about now? Does the figure pictured below look like Luke Skywalker? Come on, tell the truth. Take a look at the figure’s right arm. It looks like its on the verge of falling off. This pic doesn’t do the horribleness of the figure’s paint job any justice. It is a truly pathetic looking toy that has no right to exist.

Yoda fared slightly better at the bootleg toy factory. Only slightly. The only reason Yoda is not too screwed up is simply because how badly can you screw up a figure when all you have to paint are the eyes? Wait a minute! Even Yoda, a figure whose eyes were the only thing painted by the bootleg toy makers has splashes of paint on him. Oh how low can you go?

For the curious, Yoda checks in at a measly two inches in height. Luke stands tall at a towering four and a half inches. The whole Attack of the Clones bootleg toy series features some of the sorriest looking bootleg Star Wars figures I’ve ever laid eyes on. I guess the only good thing you can about the series is ‘nice packaging’. I mean, who cares if the ships pictured on the card aren’t even from the Star Wars universe?
Finally, I mentioned that this series is called Attack of the Clones. But you really can’t tell because the text is almost hidden by the bubble on the card. So here’s a closer look at the Star Wars: Attack of the Clones text:

Awesome! Maybe that dude is supposed to be a cross-eyed Anakin Skywalker? But really he just looks like the older brother from The Wonder Years.

you know, its funny that all of the star wars bootleg guns i have seen are mostly from the less popular book characters toys from 1998. those crazy cats over the border!
